Product Marketing Lead, Core Banking

LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South. Moving to a new country shouldn’t mean starting from zero. That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are from or where they live. What began as fast, affordable remittances is now evolving into a complete platform for multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and long-term financial growth. With millions of users across the globe, we process over $1B in monthly transactions to 30+ countries, proving that borders shouldn't limit financial opportunity. About The Role LemFi is the financial engine for people the world wasn't built to serve. We build multi-currency accounts, remittances, savings, credit and more for diaspora communities across 21 countries - and we're growing fast. In the UK, the Chinese community represents a significant and underserved opportunity, and we're looking for a Growth and Marketing Manager who will own it. This role is as much about community as it is about growth. You will be out in the field across the UK - at events, forums, community gatherings, and in partnership boardrooms - while also sitting at the table internally to make sure the product and marketing teams hear the voice of the user. You'll work closely with Growth, Marketing, Product, and Operations, and you'll be accountable for real acquisition numbers in a market that matters enormously to LemFi's next chapter. What you'll build and own

Own user growth targets for the UK Chinese community, driving acquisition through both online channels and offline community activity - and being accountable for the numbers.

Build and run community operations: events, local gatherings, forums, and grassroots partnerships that turn LemFi into a trusted name rather than just another app.

Source, negotiate, and manage partnerships with organisations and businesses that create genuine value for both sides and move the acquisition needle.

Travel throughout the UK to represent LemFi at trade shows, community events, and sponsorship opportunities - including occasional weekends when the community is there.

Conduct ongoing market research into user needs, behaviours, and preferences, and translate those findings into actionable recommendations for Product and Marketing.

Analyse campaign and channel data continuously, using AI tools to accelerate research and content creation, and optimise based on what the numbers actually say.

Act as the internal voice of the UK Chinese community, ensuring every product decision, brand message, and market initiative reflects the people we serve.

Your experience

5 or more years in growth, sales, or marketing roles in fast-paced environments, with a clear track record of hitting ambitious acquisition or revenue targets.

Deep, lived understanding of Chinese diaspora communities in the UK - culturally fluent and genuinely embedded, not just academically aware.

Proven ability to build partnerships and community relationships from scratch and turn them into measurable, sustained growth outcomes.

Strong analytical skills: comfortable interrogating campaign and dashboard data, drawing conclusions quickly, and adjusting strategy without waiting for someone else to tell you what the numbers mean.

Self-directed operator who has worked in the field or remotely without close oversight and consistently delivered - you don't need a playbook handed to you.

Excellent communicator who can command a room at a community event and write a sharp partnership proposal the same day.

Comfortable with frequent travel across the UK, including occasional weekends.

Nice to have

Experience in fintech, remittances, or financial services - especially products designed for immigrant or diaspora communities.

An existing, warm network within Chinese diaspora communities in the UK.

Hands-on familiarity with AI tools for content creation, market research, and performance analysis.

Why Join LemFi? Love shouldn’t be expensive, yet those working hardest for their families often face predatory fees and banking exclusion. We're changing this. At LemFi, you won’t be just a cog in a machine. Whether designing products, scaling operations, or telling our story, you’ll tackle complex challenges with real, immediate impact. Your work goes beyond metrics - it puts money back in families’ pockets and offers access to the previously excluded. Join us to make a meaningful difference, where high performance is a lifeline for millions. Head of Marketing (AI-First)

Our client is a profitable, venture-backed software company built for the life sciences. Its platform is used by global pharmaceutical companies, national research programmes and major data providers to accelerate early-stage R&D. It has raised around $70m from leading investors and has tripled its top line this year. It is now launching a new AI product line and building it as a standalone business unit with its own product, its own go-to-market motion and its own revenue stream. Where the core business sells multi-million dollar enterprise deals on long cycles, this product is product-led: a scientist signs up, gets value immediately, and expands into the wider platform as their work demands it. This is the General Manager who will own it — effectively the CEO of a startup inside a well-funded, established business, reporting to the group CEO. LocationRemote, with a strong preference for London or the US East Coast (New York, DC, Boston, Miami). The company is remote-first, and intends to establish an office wherever the new team concentrates — expect to be together weekly if you are co-located, or roughly monthly if the team is spread. Candidates across European time zones will also be considered. Key Role Details

Own the commercial and product outcomes of the business unit, carrying both a revenue target and a product uptake target.

Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for a new AI product line, with product-led growth as the primary motion and land-and-expand into pharma as the route to scale.

Own sales, marketing and pricing for the unit, and build the teams behind each.

Recruit, structure and lead the business unit team, starting from a team of around five.

Set the commercial operating cadence — pipeline management, forecasting and deal governance.

Work with product and engineering leadership to keep the roadmap aligned to commercial demand.

Report directly to the CEO on business unit performance.

Launch is targeted for early Q1, with an ambition of around $10m ARR by the end of next year.

Experience and Competencies Required

Around 10 to 15 years' experience. This is deliberately not a role for a seasoned executive — our client wants someone who still has a great deal to prove and wants to build something of their own.

Proven ownership of a product-led growth software product end to end. This is the single most important qualification and the one you will be assessed on hardest.

Direct ownership of commercial targets, ideally in healthcare or life sciences software.

A track record of taking a product from zero to one and scaling it commercially.

Experience closing enterprise deals in excess of $300k, alongside the self-serve motion.

Experience building and managing a commercial team.

The ability to operate with very high autonomy in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

A biomedical or life sciences background is a strong plus rather than a requirement, but a genuine interest in the field is essential.

This is likely to suit someone who has taken a product through an early growth phase to a funding round or exit, and is looking to do it again with the resources of an established company behind them.
