Performance Marketing Manager

About Blink Blink is a specialist SEO and PPC agency for large-catalogue Shopify stores. We work with eCommerce brands where the size and depth of the catalogue is the real product - several hundred SKUs or often much more, usually £5m or more in revenue, across categories such as homeware, beauty, fashion, lighting and gifting. We are a small, senior team, and paid and organic are one team here rather than two departments. The same product data feeds organic search, Google Shopping, Performance Max and AI surfaces, so on a large catalogue store a sizeable share of new customer acquisition is built on one foundation. The role We're looking for an eCommerce PPC Manager to own a portfolio of paid accounts end to end: the strategy, the delivery and the client relationship. It is a senior, hands-on role. What you'll own

A portfolio of eCommerce accounts across Google Ads, Meta, Merchant Center and Pinterest. You would own each one fully: the strategy, the build, the optimisation, the budget, the feed, and the monthly reporting and client call that go with it.

Merchant Center and product feeds. Most of what looks like an ad platform problem in this market starts in the feed or the Merchant Center account, so you would manage Merchant Center directly and work with the Shopify product data and the feed tools behind it. When performance moves the wrong way, we would expect you to investigate it, tell the client what you found, and fix it.

The client relationship on your accounts. You would present performance, answer the detailed questions that come back, and hold a commercial conversation about what the spend is producing. Some of our clients ask a lot of questions and expect specific answers.

The paid side of new business. Audits and proposals for prospects, working with the team on the organic side of the same pitch.

Working with organic. Shared product data means a fix on one side usually helps the other, and the work is more valuable when someone spots that rather than each side finding out later.

What we're looking for We're looking for someone who:

Has managed eCommerce paid accounts hands-on, on Google Ads and Meta, with real Merchant Center depth rather than passing familiarity. Pinterest experience is an advantage

Understands product feeds - how they are built, what breaks them, and how to work out whether a performance problem starts in the feed or the campaign

Can hold a commercial conversation with a founder or eCommerce manager about what their spend is doing, without a layer of account management in between

Is comfortable working out a Google disapproval or policy problem with Google directly

Has used a PPC management platform such as Optmyzr, and feed tools such as Product Hero, Multifeeds or Simprosys. CSS platform experience is an advantage

Writes clearly. Most of our client communication happens by email, document or Notion

Organised and accountable, more than anything else. You would be carrying several accounts, budgets, reporting cycles and deadlines at once. That means working out which task will make the most difference and doing that one first, following through on what you said you would do, keeping clients and colleagues informed, and taking responsibility for how the accounts perform, including when something has gone wrong. Shopify experience is useful but not essential. Deep Merchant Center and feed experience is closer essential. Package

£45,000

Four day week, 32 hours. Many of the team work Monday to Thursday by convention, but there is no fixed daily start or finish - there is flexibility to work around childcare, for example

Hybrid or remote

Norwich office available; remote-first also an option

24 days holiday, which is six weeks at our four-day week

The office closes between Christmas and New Year, and those days do not come out of your holiday allowance

Health Shield health cash plan, which includes money back on dental, optical, physiotherapy and wellbeing treatments, a 24/7 counselling helpline, remote GP appointments, and up to eight counselling or CBT sessions a year outside the normal budget. Children under 18 can be added at no extra cost

Enhanced parental leave. Maternity and adoption pay at eight weeks full and twelve weeks half after probation, rising to sixteen weeks full and twelve half after 12 months. Paternity at four weeks on full pay after probation, against a statutory two weeks at the statutory rate

Enhanced sick pay. Six weeks at full pay and six at half after probation, doubling to twelve and twelve after two years

Pension through NEST, with the employer contribution calculated on your whole salary rather than the statutory banded earnings, and salary sacrifice available if you want it

We would like someone in post for a December or early January start

The roleWe're hiring a Growth Manager to take full ownership of how people discover Stasher beyond Ads and Partnerships. This is a senior, strategic role: you'll set the direction for these channels and be accountable for the growth they deliver, not just execute against someone else's plan. Entropy sells survival, power and preparedness gear in the US. Around $525k a year, currently at contribution margin neutral. Almost all of it is other people's product resold at 9-12% margin, which caps what the business can earn. Own-brand product and better acquisition economics are the fix. That's the job. You'd own the P&L and report to Jack and Lasse weekly. Nobody else is doing this. Tasks

Own blended gross margin, moving it from 12% to 25%, and take the business through breakeven.

Source and launch own-brand SKUs. Suppliers, MOQ negotiation, samples, freight, duty, 3PL, listings, launch.

Run paid acquisition yourself. Google Shopping, PMax and Search. There's no agency and there won't be one.

Site and conversion work. Product pages, imagery, copy, checkout, cart abandonment.

Build attach and post-purchase revenue. Checkout upsells, replenishment, email flows.

Restart the content engine. Video cadence, TikTok, YouTube, UGC and reviews.

Manage the existing dropship catalogue on margin, cutting what doesn't pay.

First 90 days: paid spend cut on every SKU below 15% margin, even where that drops revenue. Google Ads moved in-house. First own-brand order placed. Attach offers live at checkout. Blended gross margin at 16%.

Requirements Must have:

Launched a physical product end to end. Sourced it, negotiated MOQ, approved samples, managed freight, priced it, listed it, sold it

Run Google Ads yourself on a Shopping-led store. In the account, not briefing an agency

Owned a gross margin or P&L number, not a revenue or ROAS number

Operated at $500k-5m, where you wrote the product page and answered the customer emails

Comfortable cutting revenue to fix margin

Work independently. No team, no budget approver, nobody checking your work between weekly calls

Nice to have:

Built checkout attach, upsells or replenishment flows

Sold consumables or anything with repeat purchase

Worked with Chinese suppliers, or US co-packers and contract manufacturers

US import, duty classification, 3PL setup

Klaviyo or equivalent, built from scratch rather than inherited

Bundle and kit pricing

Preparedness, outdoor, hunting or adjacent category knowledge

We're also open to people from outside ecom. Founders whose company didn't work out, consultants who want to operate, anyone who has built something and can show it. The mechanics are learnable. The instinct isn't. Not for you if you want a team, a budget, or someone telling you what to do next week. Or if a 25% revenue drop in month one would be a problem. Benefits €65-75,000 base. Equity from 5%, up to 10% earned against margin and profitability targets. Quarterly bonus on gross margin. Fully remote, anywhere in Europe, hours yours. Small business, no funding behind it, everything pays for itself out of what the store makes. Take it through breakeven and to 25% margins with a real own-brand line and you own a meaningful piece of a profitable company you built. Entropy sits inside a wider venture portfolio. If you get this working and want to build the next thing in this space, that conversation is open. Send us your CV and tell us which brands you've worked on. Then one product you launched: what it was, what it cost landed, what it sold for, and what you got wrong. Two paragraphs.
