Director of People Ops
Remote USA
As the VP of People Ops, you will have a strong and influential company-wide presence and will partner to build and sustain a culture that is a differentiator to the success of our business. You will commit to an approach that focuses equally on strategy as it does on rolling up your sleeves to execute on the work. You will help support strategy of organic & inorganic growth.
You will translate company Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) into HR initiatives tied that motivate employees to do their best work. You will work with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to reward employees based on merit and performance to create a performance-based culture. You will report directly to the CEO, be integral to the ELT, and will lead the People function to support our ever-evolving business.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead efforts to build and sustain a culture the drives the success of and of our employees during a period of rapidly evolving business
- Lead due diligence of People during acquisition activities though integration, change management strategy and implementation
- Be a trusted and strategic business partner and thought leader to the Executive Staff team and leaders at all levels
- Coach leaders and peers and model a culture where positive and constructive feedback is embraced to evolve leadership and drive company performance
- Foster a commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion among leaders and employees and build programs that attract diverse talent
- Attract and retain the best talent in the market and support the growth of our company
- Own all aspects of the People function
- Own the employee experience and life cycle from Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement & Culture, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and Organizational Design
- Use data to develop solutions to support a best-in-class employee experience
- Create an Employee Value Proposition and associated branding in partnership with marketing to brand internally and externally such as Glassdoor and Comparably
- Develop and drive total rewards program that embrace our total rewards philosophy that is motivating, equitable and rewards a high-performing culture
- Own employee equity for Compensation Committee and Board meetings by partnering with the CEO and CFO for preparation and presentation
- Lead by example and model our Core Behaviors. Exhibit exceptional emotional intelligence, communication, and influencing skills
- Develop robust feedback, coaching and development programs to support employees and their growth
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have 5+ years' experience as a progressive People Leader
- Have 3 or more years of working in a SaaS and/or Product Led Growth venture-backed, fast-paced environment, ideally with experience scaling HR efforts in early-stage companies (Series A/Series B) through later stage growth and scaling the business
- Have experience with acquisitions from due diligence to talent integration
- Have previous experience in working with compensation committee and/or board of directors and senior executive leaders
- Are a strong collaborator that is capable of building and managing strong working relationships across organizational boundaries
- Have experience building company culture and external presence across multiple geographies, including India and Europe
- Success in managing hybrid employee population, remote and on-site
- Are hands-on, results-driven, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment, while having fun!
- Performance-driven leader with outstanding communication skills

- Have the business acumen, appetite to understand the business, market, competition, and our competitive differentiation. You understand how the company makes a profit and understand concepts such as P&L, working capital, EBITDA and free cash flow, and why that matters. You keep them in mind while making decisions, creating programs that help drive our company forward and create a sustained competitive advantage
- Thrive on leading change management including M&A integration and transformation.
- Can balance between big picture strategic long-term thinking and short-term tactical execution
