About This Role...

This is a versatile role that balances bringing concepts based on direction from the creative director to fruition along with creating your own original design concepts. You are a great fit for this role if you have a keen eye for detail, can create unique and exciting designs while also being open and receptive to feedback, balance multiple projects and manage your time effectively. This role also requires a strong understanding of design principles, attention to detail, and a creative approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities also include handling day-to-day edits and layout adjustments, newsletter template designs for email marketing, marketing materials for a retail division and print file setup for high end printing and production processes.

Our clients have high expectations of us so our team members must be able to provide high touch care and services to them.

Required Qualifications...

• 3-5+ years of graphic design experience
• Excellent typography skills and understanding of visual hierarchy
• A strong portfolio showcasing your creativity and precision
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Exceptional creativity, attention to detail with catching typos and alignment issues along with clear communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment which include fast turnaround of edits and design requests
• Dedicated computer and storage, high-speed internet and your own Adobe CC subscription
• Ability to work throughout the week with very flexible availability during daytime hours for design work, calls, emails etc.

Specific Position Details...

• 1099 Independent Contractor
• Pay rate $25-35/hr based on experience
• Immediate need for 10-15 hours/week with opportunity for more
• Project-based work with hours fluctuating based on client demand and studio needs
