Job Description
We are seeking a highly driven and analytical Paid Search Strategist to join our team and help scale our paid media operations. This is a pivotal role for a specialist who is ready to move beyond simple campaign management and take true ownership of account performance across a diverse portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between traditional PPC tactics and the new era of AI-driven bidding and automated creative, ensuring our clients stay ahead of the curve in an evolving search landscape.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of hands-on agency experience managing various account types (Lead Gen, E-commerce, Local Services), possess a "test-and-learn" mindset, and have the communication skills to interface confidently with clients while driving measurable ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Ownership: Act as the primary owner for paid search performance, strategy, and execution across your accounts. You are accountable for ROAS, CPA, and overall conversion growth across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and emerging paid platforms.
- Full-Funnel Execution: Plan, launch, and optimize complex campaigns including Search, Shopping/Performance Max, YouTube, and Display.
- Client Interfacing: Serve as the paid media expert, confidently presenting strategy decks, sharing performance insights, and cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Performance & Innovation: Focus on advanced techniques like value-based bidding, offline conversion tracking, and creative testing frameworks to ensure accounts consistently hit aggressive targets.
- Reporting & Analysis: Compile granular data to generate regular performance reports. Provide deep-dive insights and actionable recommendations rather than just "reporting the numbers."
- Market Research: Stay ahead of Google Ads "Core" updates, privacy changes (tracking/attribution), and competitor landscape shifts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the creative and SEO teams to develop cohesive multi-channel strategies and internal AI-assisted workflows.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on agency experience managing complex, high-performing paid search campaigns across multiple industries.
Skills:
- Analytical Rigor: Exceptional quantitative skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business strategies.
- Expert Knowledge: Deep understanding of Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, including scripts, automated bidding strategies, and GA4 integration.
- Communication: Strong presentation skills necessary to interface effectively with both clients and internal leadership.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Google Ads Editor, Google Sheets/Excel (pivots and VLOOKUPs are second nature), and reporting tools like Looker Studio.
- Attributes: High attention to detail, a proactive "can-do" attitude, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Bonus Points (Nice to Haves)
- Experience with AI-assisted workflows, including prompt engineering for ad copy.
- Google Ads Certifications (Search, Measurement, Shopping).
