The Role
We are looking for a Tender & Content Writer to support the development of tenders, capability documents and strategic business content across several client organisations.
This is a flexible part-time role (approximately 8–10 hours per week to start) working remotely, with occasional catch-ups in Sydney.
You will work closely with the Founder to develop clear, compelling written material that helps clients position their capabilities and win contracts.The role also includes occasional development of LinkedIn content, repurposing tender insights, project wins and capability material into professional thought-leadership posts.
This role would suit someone who enjoys structured writing, working with complex information and translating technical material into clear, persuasive documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and editing tender submissions and proposals
- Support the development of capability statements and company profiles
- Structure and refine written responses to tender questions
- Translate technical or operational information into clear, compelling written content
- Assist with research and gathering information from clients
- Maintain consistency across tender and proposal documents
- Repurpose tender insights, project wins and capability material into LinkedIn thought-leadership posts
- Assist with light B2B marketing content when required
About You
You are a strong writer who enjoys working with structured business content and professional audiences.
You likely have experience in:
- Tender or proposal writing, OR
- B2B marketing and professional services writing, OR
- policy, consulting or technical writing
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in tender/proposal writing, B2B marketing writing, or policy/consulting/technical writing
You should also have:
- Excellent written English and editing skills
- Strong attention to detail and document structure
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- A commercial mindset and interest in helping organisations win work
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
Experience in security, infrastructure, facilities management, consulting or government procurement is a bonus but not essential.
