Job Description

Volunteer for a startup ensuring vulnerable children in Zambia can learn and thrive! đżđČLead Me Back Foundation addresses the barriers to quality education through an integrated, child-centered approach that responds to the realities children face both inside and outside the classroom.
Increasing household poverty in Zambia continues to push children out of school. For many, attending class does not guarantee learning; classroom hunger, poor access to basic health services, and climate shocks like droughts and floods create a cycle of vulnerability. Without basic supplies, nutrition, or health support, children are often too unwell or unprepared to engage meaningfully in their education.
Lead Me Back Foundation stabilizes the learning environment by addressing education, nutrition, and health as interconnected needs:
- Guardian for A Year: We provide essential school suppliesâincluding uniforms, shoes, and learning materialsâto help children attend school with dignity.
- Tummy2Class: Our school feeding program tackles classroom hunger, ensuring children have the nutrition they need to concentrate and succeed.
- Ubumi Care Clinics: We strengthen access to basic health services through screenings and health education, reducing absenteeism caused by untreated illness.
By removing these practical barriers, we ensure that the most vulnerable students are better positioned to stay in school and build a brighter future.
Role (Volunteer, unpaid): Graphic DesignerRole Description: We are looking for a creative and committed Graphic Designer to help us tell childrenâs stories with dignity, clarity, and heart.
Your designs will shape how our work is seen and understood, from social media content and reports to campaign visuals and volunteer materials. Through your creativity, you will help amplify issues such as classroom hunger, access to education, child health, and climate literacy in ways that move people to care and act.
This role is ideal for someone who understands that design is not just about aesthetics, but about communication and impact. You will work closely with our team to translate complex realities into visuals that are simple, powerful, and human.
When you volunteer as a Graphic Designer with Lead Me Back Foundation, your work will help attract support, strengthen visibility, and ultimately ensure more children are seen, heard, and supported.
Time Commitment: Volunteer 2-3 hours per week remotely for 1-2 months đ»If you want to make change happen, apply to volunteer with Lead Me Back Foundation!
