JOB SUMMARY: The Marketing and Communications Project Manager is responsible for managing internal and external communications for the company ensuring its messages are equitable, engaging, and consistent. Job Description: The Communications Assistant Manager will provide written and administrative support to the organization to ensure the success of the Communications Action Plan managed by the department lead. This role welcomes an excellent communicator with dynamic social media and online community-building experience, as well as a data-driven, collaborative leader with a commitment and understanding of equity. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of communications strategies throughout the organization
- Provide administrative support to programs and internal teams
- Develop and maintain web content and contribute to social media strategies
- Generate reports to measure and analyze the impact of digital media, storytelling efforts, and advertising on the organization
- Update databases, site documents, and media lists on all platforms
- Monitor projects and media exposure on all social media platforms
- Facilitate effective internal communications development strategies
- Create or assist with presentations and development of reports
- Develop and manage programs to communicate and reinforce the organizations’ mission
- Work collaboratively with other internal team members to ensure all content is consistent across all platforms
Experience:
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with design software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign) and content management systems is a plus
- Strong editing and researching skills
- Excellent communication abilities (oral and written)
- Strong attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is desired
- 2-5 years’ experience desired in
