Freelance Video Editor – Jewellery & Culture

Join an exciting opportunity to shape short-form video content at the intersection of jewellery, fashion, and culture. This role focuses on editing a variety of social media series for a London-based fine-jewellery designer, with all work completed remotely. You will transform green-screen recordings, product videos, and dynamic background clips into engaging, stylish, and authentic stories. The content ranges from competitive jewellery showcases and top 5 rankings to creative edits that highlight cultural objects and trends. Your editing will ensure the jewellery remains the focal point, while infusing each piece with rhythm and polish to captivate audiences across platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Deliverables

• Edit short-form videos for multiple social media series, ensuring a consistent, stylish, and intelligent narrative.
• Work with green-screen footage, product shots, and sourced background clips to create visually compelling edits.
• Produce content such as competitive showcases, top 5 rankings, environment-changing edits, reaction videos, and meme/cut-down edits for daily posting.
• Maintain a strong focus on jewellery in every frame, using creative storytelling and editing techniques.
• Collaborate remotely, delivering polished videos that align with the designer’s refined and authentic London perspective.

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Experience editing short-form content for social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok.
• Strong sense of visual rhythm, pacing, and storytelling in video.
• Ability to work with green-screen footage and integrate diverse background elements.
• Keen eye for detail, ensuring jewellery remains the visual focus.
• Creative approach to editing, with an understanding of current trends in fashion, culture, and social media.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver high-quality work remotely.
• Availability for a full-time contract position.
