Day to Day Responsibilities Your Work
- Lead cross-functional teams across multiple business units to align on priorities and develop comprehensive communications strategies.
- Develop communication programs that incorporate a full spectrum of tools and tactics (from traditional letters to digital and social media content).
- Create communication through the eyes of the customer - developing holistic experiences and meaningful touch-points.
- Use data to measure success and continually optimize results (open rates, response rates, return mail, list health, etc.).
- Use communication to mitigate risks through crisis management, constituent engagement, and customer service.
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating marketing strategies and plans that drive member engagement and profitable membership growth/retention in support of NPS goals.
- Develop holistic experiences and meaningful touchpoints that leverage a variety of tools (consumer engagement, content marketing, content syndication, and email marketing).
- Understand the strategic intent of our members and connect the personalized programs to experiences through member-facing marketing assets with landing environments that inspire the desired member's actions and deliver on member's needs.
- Drive successful implementation including approving all technical and artistic phases of marketing collateral and materials; tracking budgets and project deliverables/milestones; managing vendor and internal unit activities and preparing reports and communications on project status to stakeholders.
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience.
- Knowledge of advanced health insurance marketing principles, healthcare education, or behavior change practices and techniques is a plus.
- Ability to independently develop, implement, and evaluate marketing plans and processes and recommend process improvements.
- Excellent cross-functional team, project, and organizational leadership skills with attention to detail.
- Self-starter with initiative and a sense of accountability and ownership.
- Ability to influence and align stakeholders and decision makers.
