Position Summary:
The Director of Marketing is responsible for managing Stova’s voice in the market. The Director will lead all aspects of marketing at Stova, including content, lead, and product marketing functions. Liaising with internal teams and external vendors, the Director will use thought leadership to continue driving Stova’s strong industry position and use rigor and discipline to execute these plans.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Lead all efforts in coordinating timing, messaging, and communication to existing and new clients around new product and feature initiatives that Stova is rolling out
- Plan, execute, and measure marketing campaigns, with ability to segment by Stova’s various target markets
- Manage all aspects of content marketing, including the creation of white papers, e-books, prospect materials, existing client presentations, and blog posts, all in Stova’s unique voice, cadence, and terminology
- Manage and measure the top of funnel lead process, including filtering leads into qualification and / or nurture stages as needed, lead scoring, and lead sourcing
- Plan and manage Stova’s attendance as exhibitor at key industry conferences
- Liaise with sales, sales ops, and finance teams to ensure internal lead conversion processes remain robust
- Ensure that all Stova internal and external materials and communications adhere to Stova’s brand guidelines and unique voice
- Measure and optimize Stova’s SEO, SEM, SOV, and AI search results
- Travel up to 10-15%
Education, Experience, & Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- 5+ years marketing experience, including at least 3 years in event marketing (producing, technology, or services) and at least 3 years in product marketing
Competencies:
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong data management and analytical skills
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools (experience with Hubspot is a strong plus)
- Proficiency with ABM marketing tools (experience with 6Sense is a strong plus)
- Experience with Salesforce (deep proficiency not required)
- Ability to take direction and change direction fluidly
- Understand the nuances of events and event marketing
- Ability to work on multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills, according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology
