The Role
We are looking for a highly data-driven and AI-native Marketing Lead to own and execute Staq's marketing strategy. This is a hands-on role for someone who can blend brand, growth and product marketing, while leveraging the latest AI tools to drive efficiency and impact.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-focused—comfortable building campaigns from scratch, experimenting rapidly and using AI to scale content, performance marketing and analytics. You'll be marketing to financial institutions, fintechs and enterprise clients - not consumers. You'll communicate technical value propositions to sophisticated audiences, not drive consumer conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute Staq's end-to-end marketing strategy with a focus on B2B enterprise and fintech audiences
- Plan and launch multi-channel campaigns (digital, content, social, events) to drive awareness and qualified lead generation for banking and fintech decision-makers
- Leverage AI tools to create, optimise and scale marketing efforts (content generation, performance optimisation, analytics, etc.)
- Manage and grow Staq's digital presence, including website, social media and content platforms, positioning Staq as a fintech infrastructure leader
- Collaborate closely with all teams to align marketing with business objectives and enterprise sales processes
- Develop messaging and positioning that resonates with financial institutions, fintechs and enterprise clients - highlighting BaaS capabilities, embedded finance solutions and regulatory compliance strengths
- Own content creation across formats (technical blogs, case studies, whitepapers, webinars, decks, email campaigns) tailored to B2B fintech audiences
- Analyse campaign performance and continuously optimise based on data and insights specific to B2B sales cycles
- Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing
- Strong hands-on experience across digital marketing, content and campaign execution in the fintech or enterprise SaaS space
- Understanding of BaaS, embedded finance, payments or financial infrastructure (or strong ability to learn quickly)
- Proficiency in AI-powered marketing tools (e.g. for content generation, automation, analytics, performance marketing) - non-negotiable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment with a high degree of ownership
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Direct experience in fintech, Banking-as-a-Service, embedded finance, or payments platforms
- Familiarity with performance marketing tools and CRM platforms
- Experience building or scaling marketing functions in early-stage fintechs or enterprise SaaS startups
- Basic design or creative skills (e.g. Figma, Canva)
