Company Description SHÉLA Global is a UK-registered Community Interest Company dedicated to advancing equity for queer women and non-binary people worldwide. We design and deliver structured programmes, storytelling initiatives, research projects, and advocacy efforts that increase visibility for queer women.

Role Description

This is a remote volunteer role for an Operations & Partnership Manager. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operational processes, coordinating internal workflows, and supporting the effective delivery of programmes and initiatives. The Operations & Partnership Manager will identify, build, and maintain strategic partnerships, manage key partner accounts, and track partnership performance against agreed objectives. Responsibilities include facilitating clear communication across teams and partners, supporting data collection and reporting, and contributing to process improvements that enhance organisational efficiency. The person in this role will also help align operations and partnerships with SHÉLA Global’s mission, values, and community-led approach.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in partnerships and strategic partnerships, with experience identifying, cultivating, and managing collaborative relationships.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret data, assess impact, and inform operational and partnership decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in operations, project coordination, or nonprofit/social impact work, preferably with equity, LGBTQIA+, or community-led initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
  • Cultural humility and a strong commitment to advancing equity for queer women and non-binary people; lived experience connected to these communities is highly valued.
