Event Manager – Operations and Admin.
40-45k max.
Remote / WFH.
Travel expected 20% of the time.
The Event Manager role works on behalf of a Major Global Luxury Hotel brand.
The role supports the Hotel brand’s European B2B Sales Team, who develop the business relationships with the European Travel Management Companies.
The Sales Team host key events for the Travel Agents throughout the year at 15 different hubs across Europe.
The Event Manager organises and manages these events from pre-planning, marketing, budgeting, resource allocation, to on-site coordination and post-event follow-up
You’ll be ordering and arranging supplies, equipment, catering, entertainment and selecting and negotiating with venues and vendors to ensure the best possible rates and terms.
You’ll coordinate and deliver regular online activities and messaging tailored by country and region.
Working with US Operations Manager and Marketing Team, you’ll create online registration forms and post event surveys for the attendees and hotel venues.
They are looking for prior experience planning, coordinating, and executing simultaneous events from concept to completion, managing event budgets, negotiating vendor contracts and tracking expenses.
They are also looking for strong Excel, PowerPoint and exposure to Salesforce and MicroStrategy.
Hospitality or Travel industry experience is a big advantage.
