Koollab is looking for a Brand Designer to join our team and grow with the agency.

We focus on turning unclear positioning and scattered messaging into clear, structured brands that drive growth. Our work sits across strategy, messaging, design, and websites, with a strong focus on helping companies move beyond founder-led sales.
We work closely with our clients over time, helping them align their team, improve communication, and execute consistently.
About the role
We are looking for a designer who can take strategy and turn it into strong, thoughtful, high-quality visual work.
This role is for someone who can do more than make things look good. You need to understand how design supports positioning, messaging, trust, and conversion.
You will work closely with the team across client projects, helping bring brands to life across identity systems, websites, presentations, and marketing assets.
This is a contractor role to start, with flexibility for either part-time or full-time depending on fit, experience, and availability.
Location & availability
This is a remote role. We are based in Sydney, Australia (AEST), and require at least 4 hours of overlap with our working day to support collaboration, internal communication, and client calls.
What you’ll do
- Translate brand strategy and messaging into visual identity systems
- Design across digital and print touchpoints
- Create presentation decks, social content, marketing assets, and sales collateral
- Develop clear and consistent visual systems
- Prepare polished, client-ready files
- Join client calls where needed and contribute to discussions and presentations
- Collaborate with developers on website implementation
- Contribute to internal systems and templates
- Bring ideas, references, and creative thinking to the team
What we're looking for
- Strong branding and visual design skills
- Ability to design across identity, digital, and marketing touchpoints
- Strong Figma skills
- Good understanding of layout, typography, hierarchy, and brand systems
- Ability to take direction and also think independently
- Clear and proactive communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable with timelines and follow-through
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving agency environment
- Open to learning, improving, and growing with the team
Portfolio requirements
Please include 2–3 brand identity projects that show not only the final outcome, but also your thinking. We’re looking to understand how you translate positioning and messaging into design decisions, systems, and visual direction.

- Experience working with B2B tech
- Experience in website design
