Communications & Marketing Assistant Project Manager (Remote)

$35-40/hr DOE

Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a skilled Assistant Project Manager to support the Communications and Marketing team of a clean energy finance organization. This is a remote role with occasional travel to New York City. The contract is expected to start in September for a duration of one year, with potential to extend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and edit content such as press releases, op-eds, executive remarks, and social media posts tailored to a variety of audiences
• Develop and distribute email campaigns and marketing collateral in coordination with internal CRM and marketing teams
• Serve as a point of contact for inquiries and manage firm communication channels
• Collaborate with agency communications and marketing teams on strategic messaging, media engagement, event support, and digital campaigns
• Manage approvals for external communications and speaking engagements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, PR, marketing, government affairs, or related field
• Strong writing, content development, and project management skills
• Ability to craft strategic messaging for technical and financial topics
• Experience with digital media coordination, including email marketing and social media strategy
• Familiarity with Canva or similar graphic design tools
• Experience with clean energy infrastructure or financial markets is a plus

• Lythos, Salesforce, DealCloud, Microsoft Office 365
