Position Summary
As a Marketing & Sales Specialist at Saasyan, you will play a key role in accelerating our growth by leading smart, data-driven marketing initiatives and enabling the sales team to connect meaningfully with leads and drive customer acquisition.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the strategic side of marketing, the tactical execution of sales, and who thrives on contributing to a greater purpose.
We are looking for someone who truly understands the full buyer journey—from creating awareness and generating leads at the top of the funnel, to nurturing them through consideration and ultimately helping them convert. You’ll work closely with both primary technical decision-makers (School IT Managers) and secondary non-technical stakeholders (Wellbeing and Pastoral Care staff), developing tailored strategies and content that speak to each audience.
With approximately 75% of your focus on marketing and 25% on sales enablement, you’ll have the opportunity to shape campaigns that create impact, drive engagement, and directly support our goal of empowering schools to keep students safe and well.
What You'll Do
Marketing (75%)
Campaign Execution
· Plan and deliver integrated campaigns across digital, social, and email channels to generate awareness and demand.
· Manage campaign timelines and assets and report in coordination with key stakeholders.
Content Creation & Copywriting
· Write and design impactful content for blogs, case studies, landing pages, and sales enablement materials.
· Adapt messaging for defined key personas.
Digital Marketing
· Manage and optimise social media campaigns.
· Continuously improve SEO, landing page performance, and conversion tracking.
Email & Marketing Automation
· Build targeted email campaigns to support lead nurturing and product education.
· Set up and manage workflows in platforms such as HubSpot.
Social Media & Community Engagement
· Create and schedule content across LinkedIn and Facebook.
· Monitor trends and interactions to amplify Saasyan's thought leadership and community presence.
Events & Webinars
· Support the planning and promotion of live webinars, education conferences, and virtual demos.
· Coordinate lead capture, registration, and post-event follow-up activities.
Analytics & Reporting
· Track performance across digital platforms and provide insights to refine strategy.
· Regularly report on KPIS such as MQLS, campaign ROI, website traffic, and email engagement.
Sales Support (25%)
CRM & Lead Qualification
· Manage and update records in HubSpot to ensure lead data accuracy.
· Qualify and assign leads based on pre-defined criteria and campaign source.
Outreach & Sales Coordination
· Assist with outbound campaigns, prospecting emails, and follow-ups aligned with marketing efforts.
· Help prepare proposals, pitch decks, and customised client collateral.
Customer Insights
· Gather feedback from leads and customers to enhance our messaging, product positioning, and campaign development.
· Identify trends that inform upsell and cross-sell opportunities for the sales team.

Marketing & Analytical Skills
· Familiarity with marketing strategies, tactics, and tools (e.g. HubSpot, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta)
· Good instincts backed by analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making
· Understanding of lead funnels, digital metrics, and campaign ROI tracking
Nice to Have
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
· 2–4 years of experience in a marketing role, ideally within SaaS, tech, education, or cybersecurity
· Familiarity with inside sales or business development
· Graphic design or video editing experience (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite)
