Marketing Specialist
Job Description
Posted on: July 14, 2025
Quanta Tech Systems LLC is a New York–based cybersecurity and blockchain solutions firm specializing in building, securing, and marketing advanced digital products for our clients across fintech, Web3, and enterprise sectors.
We deliver next-generation infrastructure with a focus on cybersecurity, blockchain development, and go-to-market strategy. From secure crypto exchanges and blockchain-based platforms to high-performance VPN software and enterprise-grade protection systems, our mission is to provide robust, scalable, and privacy-focused technology that empowers businesses to grow confidently in a digital-first world.
At Quanta, we don’t just build secure systems — we help launch, protect, and grow them. Through a combination of deep technical expertise and sharp marketing execution, we ensure that our clients’ products not only work — but thrive.
The ideal candidate thrives in a startup setting with limited budgets. As one marketing blog notes, marketing can be a “significant hurdle—especially when funds are limited,” but creativity and strategic thinking can make it possible to succeed “on a shoestring budget”.
We need a hands‐on, resourceful marketer who can innovate with minimal spend.
Key Responsibilities
- Organic and Paid Campaigns: Plan and execute creative marketing campaigns across digital channels. Focus on community-driven growth (e.g. Reddit, Discord, Twitter) and performance campaigns (e.g. low-budget ads, promotions) to increase brand awareness and attract new leads.
- You’ll target technical and crypto-savvy audiences with content and ads tailored to each stage of the funnel (awareness → engagement → conversion).
- Social Media & Community Growth: Own and grow our presence on Reddit, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram, and other relevant platforms. Monitor and leverage social trends (e.g. trending subreddits, viral topics) to engage users.
- Drive community engagement by starting conversations, responding to comments, and hosting AMA/Q&A sessions or contests
- Content Creation: Produce high-quality, original content that resonates with our audience together with content creation specialist. This may include blog posts, videos, infographics, podcasts, or social posts. You should be comfortable scripting or shooting videos (for YouTube or TikTok), writing tutorials or case studies, and adapting content for each platform. All content must align with brand guidelines yet be creative and engaging.
- Funnel Management: Build and nurture the full marketing funnel. Attract new users with educational/awareness content and community events, then retarget engaged leads (“heated-up audience”) with more focused messages and promotions to drive conversions. Continuously iterate on tactics – for example, use data to refine audience targeting and move prospects from interest to sale. (As one growth-marketing guide explains, the funnel helps “attract, engage, and convert” prospects through tailored content.
- Analytics and Optimization: Track and analyze the performance of all campaigns and channels. Use data-driven metrics (web analytics, social analytics, A/B test results, etc.) to measure success and ROI. Generate regular reports and translate insights into actionable improvements. Growth hackers “use the metrics of previous digital activities” to target and convert the most likely customers, so you should be continually learning what works best and doubling down on it.
- Partnerships and Collaboration: Manage relationships with external creators, influencers, or agencies as needed. Work cross-functionally with product, design, and sales teams to ensure marketing efforts align with product updates and business goals. Provide marketing input on product launches, feature releases, and sales initiatives. In short, act as a bridge between the technical team and the market, translating complex IT/crypto topics into compelling narratives.
- Community Engagement: Act as a community builder. Engage one-on-one with users (answer questions, gather feedback) and one-to-many (host webinars, run livestreams, etc.) to foster loyalty. We want evangelists, not just customers, so find ways to “wow” our audience at every touchpoint. Your goal is to turn satisfied users into advocates and to grow our user base organically through word-of-mouth.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3+ years in digital marketing, social media, or growth roles (ideally in tech, fintech, or crypto). You’ve built campaigns from scratch and understand both creative content and performance metrics.
- Digital Savvy & Growth Mindset: A true “growth hacker” mentality. You’re more digital-savvy than traditional – comfortable experimenting with limited budgets, finding hacks and shortcuts, and using data to target the most promising customers. You focus on the complete customer journey, optimizing each step from awareness through conversion and beyond.
- Social & Community Expertise: Proven success growing online communities (especially on Reddit and YouTube). Familiar with the norms and trends of those platforms – e.g. you know what kind of Reddit posts perform well, how to leverage Discord/Telegram groups, and how to make technical topics engaging. We’re looking for someone with creative flair and platform know-how.
- Content Skills: Excellent content creation ability (blog writing, video editing, graphic design basics, etc.). Able to generate technical or educational content that is also fun and relatable. If you can produce short tutorial videos or design eye-catching infographics, that’s a plus. Editing skills or familiarity with tools like Adobe, Premiere, or Canva are highly valued.
- Data-Driven: Comfortable with analytics and metrics. Experience using tools like Google Analytics, social analytics dashboards, A/B testing frameworks, etc. You make decisions based on data and constantly refine tactics to improve ROI.
- Crypto/IT Knowledge: Strong interest in or experience with cryptocurrency, blockchain, or fintech markets. You should understand at least the basics of how crypto exchanges work, what makes a project technically secure, and the mindset of crypto users. Fintech/cybersecurity background is a bonus.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication. You can explain complex technical concepts simply. A concise and engaging writing style is essential; bonus points if you can inject humor or memes appropriately.
- Personal Traits: Self-motivated, results-oriented “field fighter” attitude – willing to wear many hats and get things done end-to-end. Comfortable working independently as an individual contributor and collaborating closely with a small team. Startup experience and remote-work experience are a plus, since you’ll need to move fast with minimal guidance.
- Work Hours: This role is full-time and remote, but candidates must overlap with Eastern Time (EST) business hours. You should be available for core meetings and collaboration on an EST schedule.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $30 per hour (full-time) base salary.
- Bonus: Quarterly performance-based bonus. Depending on targets, bonus can range from 25% up to 100% of your salary each quarter.
- Work Arrangement: 100% remote, flexible work-from-home. Core team operates across time zones, but EST overlap is required.
- Startup Culture: You’ll have autonomy and ownership in a small-team environment. Opportunities for growth as the company scales.
