Position Summary We’re looking for a hands-on, data-driven Director of Marketing who thrives at the crossroads of strategic leadership, performance marketing, and team building. This role is critical to rebuilding and optimizing Nurp’s entire marketing engine from paid media and SEO to lifecycle email marketing and brand strategy. This role offers the chance to shape, align, and optimize a dynamic marketing operation into a high-performing direct response engine—focused on attracting high-net-worth leads for our algorithmic trading software while maintaining a polished, white-glove brand experience. You won’t inherit a finished system; you’ll be instrumental in building and elevating it from the ground up. You’ll lead a diverse marketing team, including media buyer, content creators, SEO specialists, and an email manager, ensuring everyone moves in lockstep toward common goals. The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record of developing and implementing high-impact direct to consumer performance marketing and direct response marketing strategies that deliver measurable results. You’ll be deeply analytical, constantly optimizing conversion rates across all channels, from paid and organic search to website funnels, landing pages, and lifecycle campaigns. You’ll get involved in the trenches when needed, problem-solving, and covering gaps to keep performance high. - Marketing Team Leadership & Strategic Planning: Oversee and coordinate all marketing sub-departments (Paid Media, Organic, Creative, Content, Web Design, Affiliate, Life Cycle, and SEO), ensuring alignment with company goals. Develop and execute a cohesive strategy that maximizes performance and drives growth across all channels.
- Lead Generation & Campaign Performance: Oversee and optimize paid media campaigns to achieve return on ad spend (ROAS) targets, Cost Per Acquisition target, MQL and SQL targets.
- Revenue Growth: Develop data-driven marketing strategies to increase revenue, working closely with the sales team to optimize conversion rates.
- Team Leadership & Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives, setting clear KPIs, designing and executing of development plans, performing evaluations, team accountability, and fostering a performance-driven culture.
- Data & Analytics: Utilize advanced analytics tools to ensure data integrity, track and optimize the marketing department's overall performance, and report key KPIs such as, but not limited to, CAC, LTV, ROAS, ROC, and lead-to-sale conversion rate
- Budget Management: Efficiently allocate and monitor the marketing budget across digital channels to maximize ROI, making adjustments as needed for optimal performance.
- Product-Market Fit & Positioning: Collaborate with product and sales teams to refine market positioning and identify opportunities for product expansion based on competitor analysis and market research.
- Brand Awareness & Growth: Ensure brand awareness is integrated across all marketing efforts, driving visibility and engagement while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure seamless execution of go-to-market strategies by working closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to align on key initiatives and product launches.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. (Required)
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is highly desirable. (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in marketing roles, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership position. (Required)
- Proficiency in using HubSpot CRM marketing hub (Required)
- Proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, particularly in the financial services or technology sectors, with a 3X ROAS or higher. (Required)
- Extensive experience managing and leading diverse marketing teams across various sub-departments such as Paid Media, Organic, Creative, Content, Web Design, Affiliate, and SEO teams. (Required)
- Demonstrated success in driving lead generation and sales-qualified leads through various marketing channels to a sales team (Required)
- Strong background in brand management and executing innovative marketing campaigns that surpass industry benchmarks (Required)
- Experience in lifting a brand's trust and reputation perception (Required)
- Experience marketing a B to C high-ticket product to a sophisticated customer profile (Required)
