Digital Content Specialist

Overview Join a dynamic team as a Digital Content Specialist and play a pivotal role in shaping the digital workplace experience within a forward-thinking energy company. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, maintain, and enhance the enterprise intranet using ServiceNow Employee Center Pro. Your work will ensure colleagues can easily find information, access services, and complete essential tasks through polished, user-centered digital experiences that connect seamlessly with internal systems like ERP. If you are passionate about creating high-quality content, optimizing digital assets, and supporting digital transformation initiatives, this role is your chance to make a meaningful impact.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital communications, web design, information management, marketing, computer science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 2+ years of experience in content management, web publishing, intranet operations, or digital content functions
  • Experience working with content management systems such as ServiceNow Employee Center Pro, SharePoint, Drupal, Sitecore, or WordPress
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to support content presentation and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with digital asset and design tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar
  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards, content governance, and user-centric design practices

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience supporting enterprise intranet or employee experience platforms
  • Knowledge of content taxonomy, metadata, and search optimization
  • Ability to analyze content performance metrics and leverage insights for continuous improvement
  • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with technical teams and implementation partners
  • Supporting intranet or portal experiences connected to HR, ERP, or other internal systems

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields and 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Experience with ServiceNow Employee Center Pro or similar enterprise intranet platforms is a plus
  • Prior experience supporting digital experiences integrated with enterprise systems

Other Requirements

  • Remote work permitted within East Coast and Central Time zones
  • Familiarity with working in fast-paced, collaborative digital environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot content and layout issues and support testing and release processes
