Freelance Video Editor – Remote

Join a dynamic creative and marketing team as a Multimedia Editor for a luxury fragrance brand, working remotely to produce compelling video and visual content. This role is responsible for editing both short-form and long-form videos for marketing campaigns and social media, ensuring each piece aligns with the brand’s high standards. You will collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Art Director, and marketing team to deliver a high volume of polished content, including motion graphics, text animations, and visual effects. The position requires a keen eye for detail, strong storytelling abilities, and the ability to maintain brand consistency across all deliverables. You will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicate effectively via Slack and Asana, and consistently meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble short-form and long-form video content for marketing campaigns and social media platforms.
• Create motion graphics, text animations, and visual effects using After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Develop animated assets for advertisements and social media.
• Design supporting visual assets such as thumbnails, overlays, and graphics.
• Perform photo retouching and color grading to enhance visual quality.
• Ensure all deliverables adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director, Art Director, and marketing team to align on project goals and timelines.
• Manage tasks and deadlines using Slack and Asana.
• Deliver 1–5 short-form video pieces per day, up to 25 per week.

Skills And Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing, motion graphics, and visual effects for marketing or social media.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Strong design skills with an eye for pacing, storytelling, and visual polish.
• Experience in photo retouching and color grading.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-output environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely full-time.
• Experience using Slack and Asana for project management is a plus.
