Mechanic Marketing fills workshops. We run the Google and Meta ads - plus SEO and landing pages - that turn searches into booked jobs for mechanics across Australia. And we can prove it: we show clients the exact revenue we deliver, to the dollar. Not clicks on a lead form.
The campaigns already work. We're small and growing fast. What we need is someone to own them - and grow with us from the ground floor.
You won't be hand-building pages or grinding out SEO content - our AI tools do that. You brief them, then quality-check the output hard. You're the editor, not the typist. Which means you'll get hands on the AI tooling most agencies are still too nervous to touch.
And we only do one thing: marketing for mechanics and auto repair shops. Do it here and you'll become a genuine specialist - the person workshop owners actually trust.
What you'll own
- The accounts. Google Ads first, Meta second - budgets, bids, audiences, conversion tracking, the lot.
- The performance. Build, monitor and improve campaigns. Spot a misfire or a dip in lead quality before anyone has to point it out.
- The quality. Brief our AI tools for landing pages, SEO and creative - then tear into the output before it goes live. Nothing ships with your name on it that you wouldn't stake your reputation on.
- The pre-flight check. Every campaign and every price gets checked before it's live. Catching the small stuff is the job, not an extra.
- The numbers. Report what's working, what's not, and what you're changing - in plain English a workshop owner gets.
- The proof. Track 100% transparent ROI and show clients the real revenue delivered, not vanity metrics.
- The relationships. Listen to what clients need, fold it into the work, and grow into owning the relationship - shadow first, then contribute, then lead.
What we're after
- 1-3 years actually in Google and Meta Ads - building and running real campaigns, not just pulling reports. Google's our main game
- Attention to detail that borders on obsessive. You double-check, and nothing slips. This is the one trait we won't compromise on
- A short CV is fine - we hire on how you think, learn and take feedback, not years served
- Commercial instinct - you tie ad performance to what a client actually cares about: leads, calls, booked jobs
- You listen. You can take what a client needs and turn it into the work
- Based in Australia (New Zealand considered), with the legal right to work here
- You back yourself working straight with a founder, at pace
Nice to have
- You like cars, or can hold your own talking them - it is Mechanic Marketing, after all
- You've briefed or quality-checked AI-generated content before
- You want in early at a small, fast, AI-forward agency, and founder access excites you rather than scares you
