The Role

We're looking for a passionate marketeer who is keen to join a scaling brand and support a diverse range of projects. The successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running, take ownership of project delivery and embrace a flexible approach to department priorities.

You'll work directly with the Marketing Manager across a variety of projects spanning brand, content, campaigns, franchise recruitment, PR, social media and events. One week you could be helping launch a national campaign, the next supporting a new centre opening, writing a press release or coordinating content for a new partnership.

You'll need to be comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities. Things move quickly here and that's part of what makes the role exciting.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with grit and a willingness to roll their sleeves up. Someone who takes pride in delivering great work, isn't afraid of a challenge and sees obstacles as opportunities to learn rather than barriers.

Key ResponsibilitiesContent & Communications

  • Create engaging, on brand content across a variety of marketing channels
  • Write copy for campaigns, communications, social media and promotional materials
  • Support internal and external communications across franchisee, consumer and recruitment audiences
  • Ensure messaging remains clear, consistent and aligned with brand guidelines
  • National and regional event coordination 

Campaign Delivery

  • Support the planning, coordination and delivery of national marketing campaigns
  • Assist with campaign rollout across the franchise network
  • Help develop marketing assets and materials to support campaign objectives
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively

Digital Marketing & Automation

  • Support email marketing and marketing automation activity
  • Assist with the development and optimisation of customer communication journeys
  • Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support reporting and analysis across marketing channels

Social Media & Brand

  • Support the delivery of the Mathnasium UK social media presence
  • Help plan, schedule and manage content across relevant channels
  • Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to improve performance
  • Contribute ideas for new content, campaigns and creative approaches

Skills & ExperienceEssential

  • 2–4 years' experience in a marketing, communications, content or social media role
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills
  • Experience supporting or delivering marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Experience using social media professionally
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail

Desirable

  • Experience with email marketing or marketing automation platforms
  • Experience working with CRM systems
  • Experience creating content for social media channels
  • Experience working with external agencies or suppliers
  • Basic photography, videography or content creation skills
  • Experience in a franchise, education, retail or consumer-facing environment
