The NA Growth Marketing team is a data-driven team responsible for designing and executing marketing programs that drive strategic cross-selling, customer acquisition, and customer retention. Our focus is on building solid demand programs using data insights to create pipeline. Partner with the best The Senior Marketing Specialist, Field Marketing aligns with the organization's largest new-customer selling team. You will bring a positive spirit along with experience in demand gen tactics like webinars, events, email campaigns, etc., and you will have the opportunity to design and lead programs as part of a cohesive team and gain experience in program design and marketing analytics. As a Senior Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Understanding Akamai's go-to-market strategy and sales plays
  • Planning and executing the marketing tactics to support demand generation for your aligned team
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, digital, channel, and field marketers to drive engagement
  • Delivering against KPIs that align to the demand funnel
  • Communicating all marketing plans, activities, and program results to stakeholders on a regular basis

Do What You Love To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 5 years of experience in marketing program development and a Bachelor's degree
  • Possess solid experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools, like Salesforce and Marketo
  • Have solid analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Have prior working experience in B2B tech

For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $74,700 - $155,300/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
