Senior Content Marketer – UK or US RemoteRemote Based Role – Publishing, Media, B2B Background RequiredUp to £60,000 + Bonus + BenefitsMy client… is the world’s leading provider of events and media for the data, analytics, AI and cybersecurity executive community, running global summits, publishing thought-leadership content, and provide platforms that connect senior leaders with peers and solution providers. Due to exciting expansion, they are scaling their digital and subscription business and need a Senior Content Marketer with a proven track record of turning content into subscriber growth, the objective of the role is to grow subscribers and revenue from digital content products.
Key Responsibilities
- Subscription Growth
- Develop and execute strategies that drive subscriber acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Own KPIs across the subscriber funnel: traffic → lead → free → paid → retained.
- Content Marketing & Editorial Collaboration
- Work hand-in-hand with the editorial team to package and promote content that resonates with our executive audience.
- Optimise content distribution across newsletters, reports, events, webinars, and digital campaigns.
- Ensure editorial output is supported by the right marketing tactics (SEO, email nurture, paid promotion, social).
- Performance & Optimisation
- Use data/analytics to monitor conversion, retention, and LTV.
- Run A/B tests on content formats, landing pages, and email nurture journeys.
- Constantly refine messaging, calls to action, and user experience to maximise subscriptions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales and partnerships to align marketing with commercial priorities.
- Collaborate with design and digital marketing teams to amplify editorial content and ensure maximum impact.
- Market Awareness
- Spot opportunities for new content formats and subscription growth.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven track record of growing subscribers in a subscription, membership, media, or B2B content business.
- Strong experience in digital content marketing (SEO, email nurture, funnel conversion, content promotion).
- Excellent writing and messaging skills; able to translate editorial content into compelling campaigns.
- Data-driven, fluent with tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
- Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on—this role starts as a team of one with scope to grow.
