Role Description

We are seeking a data-driven and creative Social Media Manager with a passion for food and wellness. You will be responsible for developing and pitching concepts, creating engaging content across various platforms (including Reels and graphics), managing our social media presence, and monitoring results to improve performance.

You should be well-versed in social media trends and have experience driving success on social media. Currently our main focus is Instagram, but also have a small audience on Facebook.

Ideally, we'd love to have someone on board who also has experience with photography and can occasionally shoot content for us. This is not required, but a plus!

We're looking for someone who is organized and proactive, a strong communicator and, most importantly, can meet deadlines. Someone who is consistently looking to optimize results and improve content.

The role is contract based, with expected engagement of 40-60 hours per month.

We're excited to have you join us and take our social presence to the next level!

Responsibilities and expectations:

  • Develop and pitch campaign concepts for 6-8 campaigns per month, using trends, performance data, and brand strategy to guide development
  • Create engaging content across various platforms, including Reels, Static, IG Stories, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and include captions, cover photos, and music
  • Upon approval, schedule content and closely monitor performance and engagement upon posting
  • Ensure all content meets deadlines and is delivered on schedule
  • Maintain an organized content calendar to ensure timely posting and campaign alignment
  • Monitor engagement, reach, and other performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Compile and share regular performance reports with recommendations for optimization
  • Respond to comments and community interactions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
  • Monitor brand mentions from influencers and creators and report to Marketing team monthly
