This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Happy Cog. We are currently looking for a Content & Communications Specialist in the United States. We are seeking a versatile and creative Content & Communications Specialist to help shape and execute marketing efforts across multiple channels. In this role, you will design compelling visuals, craft persuasive copy, manage content calendars, and support new business initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, bringing fresh ideas to elevate brand presence. This position offers the opportunity to experiment with innovative strategies, contribute to marketing campaigns end-to-end, and play a key role in driving organizational growth—all while working fully remotely. Accountabilities

  • Design and produce marketing materials, including social media graphics, presentations, case studies, and one-pagers using tools such as Figma or Canva
  • Write clear, engaging, and on-brand copy for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, and other digital assets
  • Manage and maintain the content and communications calendar to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content
  • Collect and organize information and assets from team members to meet project deadlines
  • Oversee social media presence, including content scheduling, posting, and community engagement across platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Support paid media campaigns and new business initiatives by preparing creative assets and sales enablement materials
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve marketing strategies, content quality, and brand storytelling

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a communications or marketing role at a digital agency or similarly fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a portfolio of work (blog posts, web copy, email campaigns, etc.)
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software and leverage AI tools for efficiency
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated mindset. Nice to have: Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Mailchimp), basic understanding of SEO/SEM/paid social, and experience with project management software like Jira, Asana, or Trello
