Marketing Manager / Marketing Director / Head of Marketing - REMOTE (East Coast)

An innovative clean energy company, backed by a recent strategic acquisition and led by an experienced CEO, is seeking a marketing expert to drive market awareness, product positioning, and early-stage go-to-market strategy in the fast-growing geothermal and HVAC sector.

The organization’s patented system design delivers the same performance as traditional geothermal systems while requiring only ~10% of the land area, opening doors to commercial and industrial projects previously deemed unfeasible. With recently commissioned high-performing wells and a new facility for R&D, testing, and training, the company is poised for significant growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead US-focused marketing strategy for geothermal and HVAC products (no global scope)
  • Develop go-to-market narratives for early-stage product launches
  • Conduct market size analysis and identify customer needs in target sectors
  • Build and manage early sales pipelines, focusing on lead generation and awareness
  • Define and prioritize marketing scope across multiple sectors
  • Leverage existing relationships and industry events to position the brand
  • Work closely with sales channels: reps, sales agents, distributors, architects, engineers, and C-suite stakeholders

Qualifications

  • HVAC industry experience with knowledge of air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, and heating/cooling products
  • Proven experience in go-to-market strategy and launching new products in early-stage environments
  • Strong understanding of industry sales channels and commercial project stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating without the support of a big-brand infrastructure
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution

  • Building a qualified pipeline with actionable market data
  • Generating high-quality leads and increasing visibility at key industry conferences
  • Creating a clear, compelling go-to-market narrative for innovative geothermal technology

Compensation & Details

  • Salary: $140K–$170K base (flexible based on experience)
  • Bonus: Based on individual and company milestones
  • Fully remote role; travel required; EST or Central time zone preferred
