IranLeaks.org is a platform dedicated to exposing truths, sharing documented information, and supporting voices advocating for human rights and freedom in Iran. The site aims to uplift independent reporting, analysis, and activism that challenge censorship, repression, and abuses by the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Role Summary

We are looking for passionate volunteer activists to support our mission by generating ideas and creating compelling content. You will help shape narratives, develop engaging materials, and assist in brainstorming campaigns that amplify awareness about political repression and human rights violations in Iran. 

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to generate creative ideas for articles, social media posts, newsletters, and campaigns that align with our goals.

• Research topics such as political repression, human rights abuses, censorship, women’s rights, and resistance movements in Iran.

• Draft and edit written content, including opinion pieces, blog posts, summaries, and informational posts.

• Help develop content calendars and plan timely topics around events or key developments.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions to innovate approaches for spreading awareness and engagement.

• Work closely with translators and other volunteers to bring diverse perspectives and languages into our content.

• Assist with fact‑checking and source confirmation to ensure credibility of published material.

• Support outreach strategies to expand reach across social and digital platforms.

Who We’re Looking For

• Strong interest in human rights, civic advocacy, and the situation in Iran.

• Excellent writing and communication skills in English and/or Farsi (additional languages a plus).

• Creative thinker able to propose ideas and help refine content strategies.

• Independent, motivated, and able to work in a collaborative environment.

• Experience with digital media, blogging, or social campaigns is a bonus.
