About the RoleInterstride is seeking a Marketing and Content Lead to own and elevate all content across our platform — both in-app and public-facing. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, marketing, and design, helping shape how students, universities, and partners experience the Interstride brand.
You will be responsible for developing and executing a cohesive content strategy that enhances user engagement, supports product and marketing goals, and reinforces our brand voice. A strong writing background is essential — you’ll lead by example in creating compelling, clear, and audience-driven content.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a unified content strategy across Interstride’s in-app experience, website, blog, social channels, and partner communications.
- Manage a team of writers and freelancers
- Write, edit, and oversee high-quality content that aligns with brand tone, business goals, and user needs.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and design teams to create engaging campaigns, visuals, and multimedia content.
- Partner with product and customer success teams to ensure content consistency across user journeys and touchpoints.
- Manage the content calendar and ensure timely, consistent delivery of content across all channels.
- Analyze content performance and user engagement metrics to inform ongoing optimization.
- Maintain and evolve Interstride’s brand voice and style guidelines.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in content creation, content marketing, or brand communications, ideally within SaaS, edtech, or digital platforms.
- Proven writing and editorial background with a strong portfolio demonstrating clarity, creativity, and audience understanding.
- Experience collaborating with marketing, design, and product teams to produce cohesive brand storytelling.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into accessible, engaging content.
- Bonus: familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma, Canva, Adobe Suite) or SEO best practices.
- Higher-ed experience a plus
