Insured Connect is the creator of ‘NIC’, the life insurance industry’s most innovative in-force data and policy service platform. We have established partnerships with most Life Insurance and Annuity Carriers, who provide in-force data feeds to power the NIC Platform. We’re looking for a dynamic, self-starting Marketing & Brand Manager who’s ready to make a big impact at a fast-moving company. We need someone who can amplify our story, create content that converts, and drive revenue through strategic marketing. You’ll lead the charge on everything from content creation and video production to email campaigns and social media growth. This is not a role for someone who needs hand-holding — we need an idea-generator and executor in one.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage our brand presence across digital channels
- Plan and create high-quality marketing content: social posts, emails, videos, blog posts, one-pagers, product promos, and more
- Design and execute email campaigns (product launches, feature updates, newsletters, drip campaigns)
- Launch and grow our social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Develop a content calendar that aligns with sales and product goals
- Analyze campaign performance and iterate based on data
- Collaborate with leadership, product, and sales to align marketing with business goals
- Bring fresh ideas to the table — and run with them!
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing, content, or brand roles (startup or fast-paced environment a plus)
- Proven track record of creating engaging content that drives awareness and/or revenue
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills (video and design experience a plus)
- Self-starter mindset — you're proactive, resourceful, and can work independently
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and moving quickly
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Mailchimp/Klaviyo, HubSpot, Buer/Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Bonus if you’ve worked with an insurance or tech-driven company
- Video editing and production (basic or advanced)
- Experience with email automation tools and landing page builders
- Familiarity with SEO and content marketing strategy
- Light graphic design (for social and email assets)
