Role Summary
A Social Media Manager is responsible for managing a company’s social media presence, creating engaging content, and developing strategies to grow brand awareness and audience engagement across various social platforms.
Key Responsibilities1. Social Media Strategy
- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with marketing goals.
- Identify target audiences and plan content to increase engagement.
- Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
2. Content Creation
- Create and publish engaging posts, images, videos, and stories.
- Manage content calendars for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter (X).
- Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging.
3. Community Management
- Respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries.
- Build relationships with followers and online communities.
- Monitor online conversations and brand reputation.
4. Performance Monitoring
- Track social media performance using analytics tools.
- Analyze engagement metrics such as reach, likes, shares, and conversions.
- Prepare reports and optimize campaigns based on results.
5. Campaign Management
- Plan and execute social media marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams.
- Manage paid advertising campaigns on social platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Experience managing social media accounts for brands or organizations.
- Knowledge of social media tools and analytics platforms.
