About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Manager to join our team at OneDAO. The Community Manager will play a critical role in engaging with our community members, fostering a vibrant and active ecosystem, and representing the organization across various platforms. This position requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of blockchain technology, and the ability to build strong relationships within the decentralized community. The ideal candidate will be proactive, innovative, and passionate about blockchain technology and decentralized governance. As a key ambassador for OneDAO, you will help us grow our community, increase engagement, and ensure our members are well-informed and actively involved in our projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Proven experience in community management, social media engagement, or related roles within the blockchain or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized finance, and DAO operations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze community feedback and data to inform engagement strategies.
- Experience with social media platforms, forums, and community management tools.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Passion for innovation, emerging technologies, and decentralized ecosystems.
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to foster growth and active participation.
- Manage and moderate online communities across platforms such as Discord, Telegram, Twitter, and Reddit.
- Create and curate engaging content to inform and educate community members about OneDAO’s projects, updates, and initiatives.
- Organize and facilitate virtual events, AMAs, and webinars to strengthen community involvement.
- Act as a liaison between the community and the internal team, gathering feedback and conveying community needs and concerns.
- Monitor community sentiment and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing and development teams to ensure messaging consistency and alignment with organizational goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep the community at the forefront of innovation.
