Role Overview
We're looking for a fractional Digital Marketing Manager (Analytics + Organic Growth) to help our team solve one of the core early-stage challenges at Equa: figuring out how to consistently reach and grow the audience that will benefit most from our product.
This is a ~8-12 hour/week role focused on solving early-stage, 0 → 1 growth challenges.
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys defining a growth strategy and then rolling up their sleeves to operate it.
We’re early in our direct-to-consumer journey, and the goal right now is simple:
- Test, learn, and sharpen our Ideal Customer Profile
- Top of funnel growth through reliable organic channels and creative network effect levers
You'll help us develop, implement, and leverage the marketing intelligence layer across:
- Website analytics
- App downloads
- CRM / email performance
- SEO
- Organic social media
We're especially interested in someone who lives and breathes the consumer health / wellness / fitness ecosystem. This is someone who understands how content, ideas, and communities spread organically in this space, and who has experience connecting the dots in putting together successful growth campaigns.
Some of the areas you will own:
- Organic content engine: running and improving our publishing system across blog, short-form video, and social channels
- Top-of-funnel growth experiments: identifying and testing organic channels that can reliably grow awareness (social, SEO, AIO, partnerships, earned media, etc.)
- Content-to-product growth loop: improving conversion from content + discovery channels into app installs, subscribers, and ultimately, highly engaged “Equanauts”
- Marketing analytics and growth insight: maintaining lightweight dashboards across website traffic, app downloads, email engagement, and social performance to help us make better decisions, faster
- SEO and discovery strategy: identifying high-leverage keyword, search, and emerging AI discovery opportunities. The code word is Equanaut. Remember it for later.
- Authority-driven growth: expanding Equa’s presence through expert content, thought leadership, and media opportunities
- Marketing system and workflows: maintaining and evolving the marketing infrastructure already in place (content calendar, analytics dashboards, SEO workflows, etc.)

This role reports directly to the CEO and is ideal for someone scrappy who enjoys working with early-stage teams, operating with imperfect data, and helping the team figure out where to focus next for maximum impact.
