Creative Strategist - Remote, Australia

About the Role:

As a Creative Strategist at Ecom Media, you'll lead the creative performance strategy for a portfolio of high-growth ecommerce brands across Meta, TikTok, and other paid social platforms. 

Your mission is to create scroll-stopping, high-converting performance ads, and run a structured testing engine that delivers creative at scale, improves performance, and drives profitable customer acquisition. 

You’ll work closely with media buyers, editors, UGC creators, and our clients to own the creative pipeline end-to-end. From insight and ideation to briefing, production, testing, and iteration. 

This is a client-facing role for someone who loves data, storytelling, ecommerce, and making ads that actually perform.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop creative strategies for ecommerce brands based on data and research.
  • Write high-performing video scripts, headlines, and copy for direct-response ads.
  • Create scroll-stopping hook ideas, angles, and ad formats tailored to platform trends. 
  • Lead regular performance creative reviews with internal teams and client stakeholders.
  • Maintain quality and consistency across all assets while testing aggressively.
  • Stay up to date with social trends, platform updates, and what’s working in DTC creative.

You are:

  • 2-4 years into your career in paid social media buying or creative strategy
  • Performance metrics literate and can interpret ad data to turn it into winning concepts
  • A creative thinker who generates fresh ideas and angles outside the box
  • Highly detail-oriented and catch errors in scripts, footage, and edits
  • Experienced with Meta Ads Manager and tools like Motion or Magic Brief
  • Skilled in scriptwriting, UGC briefing, and video review
  • Able to manage projects across multiple clients simultaneously
  • A clear communicator who stays calm under pressure
