All Open Roles Head of Marketing / Growth New York, NY, USA (Remote-friendly)

Salary range: $120,000–$155,000 + equity. Reports directly to the CEO. About This Role BAXUS has a product people love and a market that is waking up. What we do not have yet is a dedicated growth engine. That is where you come in. You will own the entire marketing function: brand, acquisition, retention, content, and community. You will take a platform with real traction and figure out how to pour fuel on it. You will work across product, sales, and engineering to build growth loops that compound. What You'll Do

  • Define and execute the growth strategy across paid, organic, SEO, email, social, and partnerships
  • Build and manage the content engine (blog, social, video, AI-assisted content at scale)
  • Own user acquisition and retention metrics for the marketplace and app
  • Drive launch marketing for new products (vending machine, wine expansion, premium memberships)
  • Manage brand positioning as BAXUS scales from niche marketplace to category-defining platform
  • Build and lead the marketing team as we grow

What We're Looking For Must Have

  • 5+ years in growth or marketing leadership at a marketplace, DTC brand, or consumer platform
  • You have scaled something before, not just optimized it
  • Strong instincts for brand and storytelling, but equally comfortable with CAC/LTV math
  • Comfortable with AI tools for content creation and workflow automation
  • Hands-on executor who can also think strategically β€” you are the team on day one, then you build it

Strong to Have

  • Experience marketing to collectors, enthusiasts, or luxury buyers
