Job Description

Posted on: November 19, 2025

At CONNETIX, we’re not just a toy company, we’re a team of curious minds on a mission to spark learning through creativity and imagination. Our award-winning, open-ended STEAM-accredited magnetic tiles inspire kids all over the world to play, explore, and build in their own unique ways. As we continue to grow globally, we’re looking for a Marketplace Advertising Specialist to join our family-oriented team.

A few of the standout things we offer:

  • Remote Work Flexibility: Enjoy the freedom of a remote work setup that helps you balance your professional and personal life.
  • Collaborative Culture: Be part of a supportive team that embraces collaboration and creativity. We encourage everyone to share their unique perspectives.
  • Award-Winning Workplace: Proudly awarded the 'Great Place to Work’ accolade for four consecutive years, reflecting our commitment to a positive and inclusive culture.

About the role:

As Marketplace Advertising Specialist, you’ll help shape how our brand comes to life across Amazon and other global marketplaces, turning insights into engaging campaigns that connect with parents, educators, and gift-givers. You’ll blend creativity with analytical thinking to plan, optimise, and grow campaigns that boost visibility, traffic, and sales.

Working as part of the Digital Marketing team, you’ll partner closely with our UK based Ecommerce team, to support advertising strategies that reflect our brand values, drive performance, and ensure a consistent brand experience across all regions, while also balancing regional nuances, with Amazon as your core focus.

Further to that, here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Plan, launch, optimise, and maintain Amazon Sponsored Ads (SP, SB, SD) across multiple regions to drive visibility, traffic, and sales for our toy and educational products.
  • Use Amazon as a testing ground to trial new strategies and roll out successful approaches to other marketplaces.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high and low performers, seasonal trends, and competitive opportunities.
  • Forecast, monitor, and optimise budgets to maximise profitability and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling ad copy and visuals that resonate with parents and educators.
  • Partner with account managers to gather local insights and keyword recommendations that shape campaign strategy.
  • Analyse customer search behaviour and competitor activity to inform ongoing optimisation.
  • Run A/B tests to refine messaging, visuals, and targeting for stronger conversion rates.
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to Marketing, Ecommerce, and Sales teams to guide full-funnel strategy and decision-making.

About you:

Curious and creative, with a knack for understanding what resonates with audiences, you blend data fluency with storytelling to inform smart decisions and drive results. Your thoughtful mindset, flair for innovation, and passion for connecting brand purpose with performance guide your work, always aligned with our tone, and brand guidelines. You're diligent, purposeful, and committed to quality, and your collaborative spirit makes you a great fit for our team.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • 2–3 years’ experience managing paid media, ideally across Amazon or other online marketplaces, preferably in toys or consumer goods.
  • Proven record of driving revenue growth while meeting target ACOS and ROAS.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central, including budget management and optimisation.
  • Skilled in using keyword and analytics tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, build reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly), and communicate insights clearly to varied audiences.
  • Proficient in Excel/Sheets, including pivot tables and lookups.
  • Excellent collaboration and project management skills, with experience working across departments and time zones.
  • A genuine interest in toys, education, or child development, additional languages are a plus.
