We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Search Marketing Director to lead our end-to-end search strategy — across both organic (SEO) and paid (SEM) channels. This role will own performance outcomes, oversee multi-channel execution, and lead a team of specialists driving customer acquisition, revenue growth, and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the global search marketing vision across SEO and SEM.
- Oversee paid search strategy across Google, Bing, and emerging search platforms.
- Own SEO strategy — from technical and on-page optimization to content, link building, and international SEO.
- Manage a team of SEO/SEM managers, analysts, and external partners or agencies.
- Set clear KPIs and measurement frameworks to track channel performance and ROI.
- Collaborate closely with product, content, creative, and analytics teams to align marketing with business goals.
- Drive innovation through A/B testing, automation, and AI-driven performance tools.
- Stay on top of search engine algorithm changes, industry trends, and competitor movements.
- Present strategy, performance, and recommendations to executive leadership.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in SEO and SEM, with 3+ years in a leadership or director-level role.
- Proven track record of managing large search budgets and delivering high-ROI campaigns.
- Deep knowledge of search platforms (Google Ads, Search Console, Bing Ads, etc.) and analytics tools (GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau).
- Strong technical SEO foundation and familiarity with CMS, schema, site architecture, and page speed optimization.
- Excellent team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute with precision in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in e-commerce, SaaS, or marketplaces.
- Background in international SEO and multi-language campaigns.
- Familiarity with AI tools, automation platforms, and performance-driven creative testing.
- Google Ads and GA4 certifications preferred.
