About the role

Digital Executive

D2C Retail

**Remote**

Are you working in digital, e-commerce, website content or online marketing and looking for your next step? Do you want to develop your skills, get closer to website performance and customer behaviour, and build experience across some of the most exciting areas of digital?

This could be the perfect opportunity to take your career to the next level.

My client is looking for a curious and proactive Digital Executive to join a growing Digital team. You’ll play an important role in improving the website experience, supporting optimisation projects and helping turn customer insights and performance data into meaningful improvements.

With exposure to User Experience (UX), Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and SEO, this is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to broaden their digital skill set, learn from experienced specialists and develop a well-rounded understanding of what makes a website perform.

This is a chance to move beyond the day-to-day delivery of digital activity and gain a deeper understanding of how websites are improved, tested and optimised.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to three valuable areas of digital, work closely with specialists and see how your contribution can influence the customer experience and wider business performance.

If you’re looking for a role where you can build on your existing experience, develop new skills and create a strong foundation for a long-term career in digital, we’d love to hear from you.

What will you be doing?

Working alongside colleagues across UX, CRO and SEO, you’ll help bring digital improvements to life, from identifying opportunities and preparing briefs through to implementation, testing and reviewing results.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Improving the customer journey: Review website pages and key customer journeys, identifying opportunities to make the experience smoother, simpler and more engaging.
  • Supporting CRO and testing: Help develop testing ideas, coordinate A/B experiments, check test set-ups and document results to understand what works and why.
  • Developing your SEO knowledge: Support search performance reviews, explore website data and help identify opportunities to improve organic visibility and website performance.
  • Using data and insights: Work with website analytics, customer feedback and search data to understand user behaviour and highlight opportunities for improvement.
  • Bringing ideas to life: Help translate priorities into clear briefs and tasks, working with design, development, content and other teams to get improvements delivered.
  • Maintaining website quality: Check website updates across devices and browsers, ensuring content, links, forms and tracking are working as they should.
  • Keeping projects on track: Coordinate tasks, monitor progress and make sure actions are followed through, helping the wider team deliver against its priorities.
  • Collaborating across teams: Build relationships with colleagues across Digital, Content, Brand, Technology and external partners, gaining exposure to a broad range of digital activity.

What I'm ideally looking for?

  • Experience in a digital, e-commerce, website content or online marketing environment.
  • A good understanding of how customers interact with websites and what contributes to a positive online experience.
  • An analytical mindset, with the confidence to explore information, spot patterns and communicate your findings.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and see them through to completion.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to create clear briefs, share updates and work collaboratively with different teams.
  • Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to get hands-on, ask questions and explore new ways of doing things.
  • An interest in developing your knowledge across UX, CRO and SEO.
