Women's Liberation Front (WoLF) is a non-partisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit radical feminist organization dedicated to restoring, protecting, and advancing the rights of women and girls. WoLF takes a proactive stance in advocating for women's rights and urges the public to engage and take action.

Women's Liberation Front seeks the full liberation of women and girls. Our main policy areas:

  1. Achieve women's total and unassailable reproductive freedom. We are a pro-choice organization.
  2. Abolish all forms of commercial sexual exploitation: porn, prostitution, and surrogacy.

Role Description

This is a part-time role for a Director of Communications, working remotely. The Director of Communications will be responsible for managing and creating blog content for our website, press releases, developing and executing strategic communications plans, email blasts to our supporters, and managing media relations. The role includes creating blog posts on our work in legislative advocacy and the courts, and managing our social media channels.

Qualifications

  • Solid, demonstrable commitment to feminism and women's rights.
  • Experience in Press Releases and Media Relations in non-profit advocacy
  • Strong skills in Strategic Communications, crafting narratives.
  • Strong social media skills: X, Meta, and TikTok.
  • Excellent Communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with teams
  • Proven track record in handling media inquiries and fostering media relationships
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field or experience in these areas.
  • Understanding of radical feminism is a major plus.
