About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEO Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is pivotal in enhancing the online presence of our franchisees by developing and executing effective search engine optimization strategies. The SEO Specialist will work closely with multiple franchisees to understand their business objectives, target audiences, and local market dynamics. The primary responsibility is to optimize website content, conduct comprehensive keyword research, and analyze website performance metrics to improve search engine rankings. The role involves implementing technical SEO best practices, such as URL structuring, redirects, and canonical tags, to ensure websites are search engine friendly. Additionally, the SEO Specialist will collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to drive SEO-focused content development, monitor industry trends, and stay updated on search engine algorithm changes. This position offers the flexibility of remote work within the United States, excluding Los Angeles County, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about digital marketing and SEO to contribute to a growing organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred)
- 1 to 3 years of experience as an SEO specialist
- Understanding of major search engine algorithms (Google, Bing)
- In-depth knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO best practices
- Experience with technical SEO aspects, including site speed and mobile optimization
- Ability to identify high-value keywords for diverse target audiences
- Strong analytical skills to interpret website performance data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with franchisees to understand their business goals, target audiences, and local market conditions
- Provide guidance to franchisees on implementing SEO best practices on their websites
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords
- Analyze keyword competitiveness and industry trends to optimize content strategies
- Implement technical SEO improvements, including URL structuring, redirects, and canonical tags
- Create and optimize website pages for SEO, ensuring alignment with branding standards
- Execute SEO campaigns, track their performance, and report on key metrics
- Analyze website analytics to assess the effectiveness of SEO initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to develop SEO-driven content
- Stay informed about industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging technologies
- Maintain best practices for site speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall website health
- Support continuous improvement of SEO strategies to maintain a competitive edge
