Role Description

Are you passionate about digital storytelling, pop culture, and building online communities? Winter Comics is on the hunt for a Social Media Manager who can turn ideas into viral moments and likes into loyal fans.

You’ll help craft our social presence across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter (X), YouTube, LinkedIn, Discord, and Facebook—crafting strategy, content, and community to grow our audience and showcase our creators.

The role includes researching and developing content strategy, performing social media optimization (SMO), and creating compelling written content. Daily responsibilities include monitoring social media trends, managing audience engagement, and actively communicating with the team.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in Social Media Marketing and SMO
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills (a sense of humor doesn’t hurt)
• Strong knowledge of platform-specific best practices and audience engagement tactics
• Experience building a content calendar and executing on strategy
• Passion for comics, animation, pop culture, or visual storytelling
• Experience with AI tools (e.g., generative art, automation, analytics)
• Ability to work independently and remotely with a self-starter mindset

Nice to Have:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Familiarity with social tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, Later, or Hootsuite

• Bonus: You've worked in a creative, comics, or animation-related industry
