Communications & Social Media Lead (Remote)

Your Role: We’re looking for a Comms & Social Media Lead to own our brand voice and grow our presence across channels—from Twitter and Farcaster to blog, press, and public-facing narratives. You’ll help position Livepeer as the technical and cultural leader in real time Video AI , while supporting ecosystem partners, protocol updates, and product launches with strong comms strategies. This role is ideal for someone who’s equal parts strategist and creator: you love translating complex ideas into accessible stories and sparking conversations that matter. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a cohesive communications strategy across social, blog, newsletter, and earned media
• Write and publish compelling content: tweets, threads, press releases, blog posts, partner announcements, and more
• Own our social calendar and community voice—keeping it sharp, credible, and relevant
• Build relationships with creators, founders, devs, and thought leaders in web3, AI, and media
• Coordinate with product, engineering, and ecosystem teams to amplify key milestones
• Track and analyze content performance; iterate based on insights
• Support Livepeer ecosystem projects with content playbooks, messaging, and visibility

Experience Required:

• 4+ years of experience in content, comms, or social media—ideally at a tech company or web3 protocol
• Strong writing skills and editorial judgment
• Deep familiarity with web3, developer culture, and emerging AI/video trends
• A pulse on internet culture and decentralized communities
• Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and external partners
• Comfort with ambiguity, ownership, and a fast-moving startup environment

Nice to Have:

• Have built a following or run accounts with measurable growth
• Have experience managing PR, journalist relationships, or speaking opportunities
• Have written technical explainers or community-facing updates in open-source contexts
