We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Social Media Engagement Manager to join our growing team and support four women’s health-focused brands. This role is ideal for a passionate communicator with a strong understanding of social media platforms, audience engagement strategies, and the unique sensitivities of women’s health content. The ideal candidate will be proactive, empathetic, and confident in managing public-facing interactions in a timely and brand-consistent manner.
Key Responsibilities:Content Engagement:
- Post and repost content across multiple social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) for all four businesses.
- Actively monitor and engage with followers by replying to comments, DMs, and tagged posts.
- Identify and reshare relevant user-generated content, testimonials, and community highlights.
Community Management:
- Proactively identify and engage with new, values-aligned audiences, partners, and niche communities to grow each brand’s follower base and reach.
- Launch targeted engagement campaigns that spark conversation and encourage user-generated content—think spotlight challenges, “ask the expert” threads, or partner AMAs.
- Respond to questions, comments, and concerns in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Track engagement trends and recurring questions to help inform future content strategy.
Monitoring & Moderation:
- Monitor posts and comments for inappropriate, spam, or harmful content and act swiftly to hide, delete, or report when necessary.
- Maintain brand safety by ensuring all interactions align with community guidelines and brand voice.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the content creation and marketing teams to align engagement strategies with campaigns and launches.
- Provide regular feedback and insights on audience engagement and sentiment.
Reporting:
- Track engagement metrics (e.g., comment volume, response rate, follower sentiment).
- Prepare monthly engagement summaries to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in social media management or engagement, ideally in wellness, healthcare, or women’s lifestyle brands.
- Deep understanding of social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Exceptional written communication skills with a warm, inclusive, and professional tone.
- Ability to manage multiple brands while maintaining distinct voices and messaging.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate sensitive health-related conversations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, Meta Business Suite).
- Experience with basic analytics and reporting is a plus.
Preferred:
- Background in women’s health, healthcare, or related fields.
- Experience working with mission-driven or multi-brand organizations.
- Understanding of HIPAA-adjacent considerations for social communication (training can be provided).
