Role Description
This role is ideal for someone who loves both the artistry and strategy of social media- someone who can balance creative storytelling with data-driven insights and who has a true appreciation for ballet culture and the dancer's experience. This is a part-time position and remote friendly. Our US headquarters are located in Wayne, PA.
The Social Media Coordinator
- Will manage and implement social media strategies, create engaging content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Reddit. Responsibilities include producing written and visual content, while maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
- Develop innovative strategies to grow and maintain Virtisse's online presence while increasing engagement and reach.
- Coordinate with the Virtisse team and ambassadors to source authentic, high quality photos and video content.
- Execute social media campaigns and product launch initiatives to support brand growth.
- Write clear, on-brand copy that reflects the artistry, precision and personality of Virtisse.
- Engage with followers, studios and dancers - responding to comments, DMs and tagged posts to build community and brand loyalty.
- Monitor social media trends, sounds, and features relevant to dance and the performing arts.
- Manage and maintain the content calendar and digital asset library.
- Support influencer collaborations and ambassador campaigns, including coordination and tracking deliverables.
- Analyze performance metrics to optimize content and campaign success; prepare monthly reports to identify trends and opportunities.
- Assist in managing paid social campaigns (Meta and TikTok), including audience targeting, ad creation and performance tracking.
- Partner with the sales team to promote launches, restocks, and events while ensuring consistent brand messaging
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience managing social media for a brand
- Deep understanding of ballet terminology, training and culture - ideally through personal dance experience.
- Strong understanding of current social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Familiarity with content creation and email marketing tools such Canva and Klaviyo
- Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools
- Creative mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively
