About the role
• Make meaningful change to the state of mental health and wellbeing in high school.
• Volunteer, fully remote role.
• Flexible hours, minimum of 2 hours per week.
• Be part of a collaborative team of fellow young people passionate about youth mental health.
About UrVoice Australia
UrVoice Australia is a non-for-profit that works with students, parents and the education sector to build an education system that ensures young people feel safe and supported to not only identify concerns, but address them. Our mission is to equip schools and educators with the capacity to effectively identify and address mental health and wellbeing concerns.
Overview
We are looking to fill multiple positions on a volunteer basis, who will be working closely with the CEO and Divisional Leads to create an education system that build safe and inclusive reporting mechanisms to ensure young people's concerns are taken seriously.

Overview by teams
Media and Communications
We’re looking for people with a background or strong interest in marketing, communications, business, or design to help build UrVoice Australia’s brand and public voice.
What you'll do:
· Create and post content across our social media channels
· Contribute to our website and brand guidelines
· Support marketing campaigns and digital storytelling
· Help translate our mission into consistent, on-brand messaging
Skills we're looking for:
· Studying or experienced in marketing, communications, business, design, or a related field
· Comfort with social media platforms and/or graphic design tools
· Strong writing and storytelling ability
· An eye for consistent brand and tone
Policy and Advocacy
We’re looking for people with a background or strong interest in policy, law, political science, public health, or research to help us lobby government and drive systemic change.
What you'll do:
· Contribute to policy submissions and literature reviews
· Support engagement with MPs and other stakeholders
· Help run advocacy campaigns grounded in evidence and lived experience
Skills we're looking for:
· Studying or experienced policy, law, political science, public health, or research
· Strong research and written communication skills
· Interest in government and stakeholder engagement
Fundraising and Partnerships
We’re looking for people with a background or strong interest in business, commerce, or partnerships to help diversify our revenue streams.
What you'll do:
· Identify and build relationships with corporate, school and community partners
· Support fundraising events and campaigns
· Contribute to proposals, briefs and general administration as we scale
Skills we're looking for:
· Studying or experienced in business, commerce, finance, or a related field
· Relationship-building, negotiation, or sales experience
· Strong organisational skills
Youth Engagement Team
We’re looking for people with a background or strong interest in youth work, education, psychology, or community engagement to work directly with high school students. This team runs the Youth Ambassador Program, TheirVoice Blog, and Youth Advisor Group.
What you'll do:
· Support and coordinate youth-led programs and initiatives
· Create content for the TheirVoice Blog
· Help ensure our work reflects real student experiences
Skills we're looking for:
· Studying or experienced in youth work, education, psychology, or community engagement
· Confidence engaging and building rapport with high school students
· Strong communication and facilitation skills.
