Business Development Executive – AustraliaLocation: Australia (Remote) Salary: $48,470.76 – $60,000 per annum DOE + Commission Contract: Permanent, Full-time Hours: 37.5 hours per week Line Manager: B2B Sales Manager Recruiter: James Cook About The Role Twinkl is looking for a motivated and driven Business Development Executive to join our growing B2B Sales team, supporting schools and educational organisations across Australia. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving growth by promoting and selling Twinkl memberships and products to schools, education groups, and key decision-makers across the Australian education sector. You'll identify new business opportunities, manage inbound enquiries, and build strong, long-lasting relationships with educators and school leaders. - Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Convert inbound enquiries into paying customers.
- Promote Twinkl's products and demonstrate their value to educators and school leaders.
- Build and maintain relationships with Principals, School Leadership Teams, Curriculum Leaders, Department Heads, and other key stakeholders.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and performance objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and activity tracking within HubSpot CRM.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operational teams to drive growth and improve customer experience.
- Develop a strong understanding of the Australian education landscape and identify opportunities to expand Twinkl's presence.
What We're Looking For
- Previous sales experience, ideally within Education, EdTech, SaaS, or a consultative sales environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for achieving targets.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- An interest in education and a desire to make a positive impact on teaching and learning.
- Experience using CRM systems is desirable.
