Video Editor – Short-form

Join a creative project focused on producing engaging short-form video content for a tea and art education center and tea retail company. You will be responsible for editing 30 to 60 second clips from long-form interview videos, transforming them into dynamic, shareable content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling through video, understands the nuances of social media formats, and can deliver polished, visually appealing edits that resonate with diverse audiences. This is a fully remote opportunity with the potential for ongoing collaboration. Deliverables

• Edit 30 to 60 second vertical video clips (9:16 aspect ratio) from provided long-form interview footage
• Add clear, accurate subtitles to all videos
• Ensure final edits are optimized for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Deliver high-quality, ready-to-publish files within agreed timelines
• Collaborate with the project team to maintain consistent style and messaging across all content

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
• Experience editing for social media platforms, especially Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Ability to create clean, readable subtitles and apply simple, effective editing techniques
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, error-free content
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
