Social Media Manager – Product Launch

This role centers on driving the successful launch of a new Polar Ice product in South Africa by building and managing a compelling social media presence. The freelancer will play a key part in establishing and growing the brand’s visibility on Instagram and Facebook, as well as supporting the integration of a payment portal on the company website. The position is fully remote and requires delivery by mid-December 2025. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to execute a range of digital marketing tasks to generate traction and engagement for the product launch. Deliverables

• Set up and optimize Instagram and Facebook business accounts for the new product
• Integrate a payment portal into the company website to facilitate online transactions
• Develop and implement a weekly schedule for boosting posts on social media platforms
• Edit and enhance social media posts to maximize engagement and reach
• Monitor and report on social media performance metrics to inform ongoing strategy
• Collaborate with the founder to align content and campaigns with overall business objectives

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing Instagram and Facebook business accounts
• Proficiency in integrating payment solutions on websites (e.g., PayFast, PayPal, or similar)
• Strong skills in social media content creation, editing, and scheduling
• Ability to analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote setting
• Availability to deliver all tasks by mid-December 2025
• Prior experience supporting product launches or start-ups is a plus
