Freelance Video Editor – Social Content

This role is ideal for a creative video editor with a passion for storytelling and digital content. You will work with an artist and architect to transform raw footage into engaging long-form and short-form videos that showcase their work and daily life. The position is remote and part-time, offering flexibility while requiring a proactive approach to content creation and publishing. You will be responsible for editing, producing, and posting videos across platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, helping to grow an online presence and support the development of a personal brand and business. Deliverables

• Edit and produce both long-form and short-form video content from raw footage
• Create visually engaging videos tailored for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
• Develop and implement basic motion graphics, titles, and transitions as needed
• Optimize video formats and aspect ratios for each platform
• Schedule and post finished videos to relevant social media channels
• Collaborate on content ideas and suggest creative approaches to storytelling
• Ensure all content aligns with the artist’s brand and vision

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Experience creating content for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
• Strong sense of visual storytelling and pacing
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely
• Familiarity with social media trends and platform best practices
• Basic skills in motion graphics and sound editing are a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Availability for part-time, remote work
